It is a clear goal *for outputs* - there are a lot of things the team can do to "make things easier." But it is a terrible goal for *outcomes.*

Leadership should not be setting the agenda for outputs, but for outcomes. Real individual ownership means having autonomy for how you choose to reach those outcomes, not having to invent outcomes you can achieve while constrained in the possible outputs.
